Public Transit and Car Sharing

We want to encourage alternatives to car dependence by locating a bus stop on site, which will be Oberlin’s first sheltered and permanent bus stop. Currently there is a bus stop competition going on to create the best design for the site.

SCA has also partnered with CityWheels so that residents can minimize their need for a second vehicle, or even consider going car-free. All residents are automatically members of the car sharing program, and a CityWheels car share vehicle will be based on the site for easy access.
