SUMMARY:Daniel Arsham "Score and Sound"
DESCRIPTION:From the organizer: \nDaniel Arsham’s exhibition Score and Sound beautifully juxtaposes the themes of past and future\, resonating with echoes of Cleveland’s rich musical and sporting traditions. Rooted in the heart of the city\, the exhibition weaves together history and innovation\, inviting viewers to contemplate the timeless mysteries hidden within everyday objects.\nEncompassing nearly thirty sculptures\, Score and Sound features Arsham’s iconic\, eroded cultural relics\, and sculptural works that invite viewers to reflect upon the material and cultural histories of everyday items\, such as Walkmans\, cameras\, baseball gloves\, and basketball hoops. Each sculpture in the exhibition serves as an archaeological artifact of transformation\, unveiling layers of history\, narratives\, and evolutions in the cultural realm and challenging our perceptions of time and reality. \nAbout Daniel Arsham \nBorn in Cleveland in 1980 and raised in Miami\, Arsham attended the Cooper Union in New York\, where he received the Gelman Trust Fellowship Award in 2003. In 2009\, Arsham began his career in stage design with Merce Cunningham. This experience led to an interest in crossing boundaries between fine art\, architecture\, design\, film\, and performance. Arsham’s iconic works meld the past\, present and future\, showcasing the malleability and power of nostalgia\, often through references to moments of the late 20th century. His works provide an experience for viewers to simultaneously remember and question the pace of lived time. \nAs the Creative Director of the Cleveland Cavaliers\, Arsham has become the first-ever visual artist to hold this role with any team. Arsham’s works have been shown at PS1 and The New Museum\, in New York\, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Miami\, The Athens Biennale in Athens\, Greece\, König Galerie in Berlin\, Germany\, Contemporary Arts Center\, Cincinnati\, SCAD Museum of GA\, California and Carré d’Art de Nîmes\, and the High Museum of Art in Atlanta GA. His works can be found in the collections of major museums and institutions around the world such as Centre Pompidou in Paris\, PS1 New York\, and the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne Australia. \nEntry is free. \nGALLERY HOURS\nWed-Sat 12-5pm

SUMMARY:Mrs. Doubtfire The Musical
DESCRIPTION:A new musical comedy about the things we do to stay together. \nEveryone’s favorite Scottish nanny is headed to Cleveland! Rob McClure will reprise his Tony-nominated Broadway performance on tour alongside co-star (and real wife!) Maggie Lakis in this internationally acclaimed hit musical critics call “wonderful\, heart-warming\, and laugh-out-loud funny” (Manchester Evening News) and “a feel-good\, family-friendly comedy that delivers” (The Hollywood Reporter). \nBased on the beloved film and directed by four-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Zaks\, MRS. DOUBTFIRE tells the hysterical and heartfelt story of an out-of-work actor who will do anything for his kids. It’s “the lovable\, big-hearted musical comedy we need right now\,” raves the Chicago Tribune – one that proves we’re better together. \n  \n\nTUE  |  Jan 09\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nWED  |  Jan 10\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nTHU  |  Jan 11\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nFRI  |  Jan 12\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nSAT  |  Jan 13\, 2024\, 1:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nSAT  |  Jan 13\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nSUN  |  Jan 14\, 2024\, 1:00 PM BUY TICKETS\nSUN  |  Jan 14\, 2024\, 6:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nTUE  |  Jan 16\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nWED  |  Jan 17\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nTHU  |  Jan 18\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nFRI  |  Jan 19\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nSAT  |  Jan 20\, 2024\, 1:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nSAT  |  Jan 20\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nSUN  |  Jan 21\, 2024\, 1:00 PM BUY TICKETS\nSUN  |  Jan 21\, 2024\, 6:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nTUE  |  Jan 23\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nWED  |  Jan 24\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nTHU  |  Jan 25\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nFRI  |  Jan 26\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nSAT  |  Jan 27\, 2024\, 1:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nSAT  |  Jan 27\, 2024\, 7:30 PM BUY TICKETS\nSUN  |  Jan 28\, 2024\, 1:00 PM BUY TICKETS\nSUN  |  Jan 28\, 2024\, 6:30 PM BUY TICKETS\n\n________ \nBusiness Office: (216) 771-4444 \nTicket Sales & Show Information: (216) 241-6000 \n\n\nGroup Sales: (216) 640-8600
