DESCRIPTION:Cleveland International Film Festival\n\nAMONG THE LONGEST-RUNNING & LARGEST FILM FESTIVALS IN THE USA\nFounded in 1977\, the Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF) is a leader in helping the world discover the power of the film arts to educate\, entertain\, and celebrate an inclusive human experience. Drawing more than 100\,000 film enthusiasts annually\, CIFF is an Academy® qualifying festival\, and one of seven Resident Companies of Playhouse Square. \n\nTickets for the 48th Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF) are now on sale online and by telephone (1.877.304.3456). Tickets can also be purchased in-person beginning Monday\, April 1st at the CIFF Box Office at Playhouse Square’s Ticket Office in the outer lobby of the KeyBank State Theatre. In-person CIFF Box Office hours of operation are: \n• April 1\, 2024 :: 10:30 AM-8:00 PM\n• April 2-12\, 2024\no Tuesdays-Wednesdays :: 10:30 AM-8:00 PM\no Thursdays-Fridays :: 10:30 AM-10:30 PM\no Saturday :: 8:30 AM-10:30 PM\no Sunday :: 8:30 AM-8:00 PM\no Monday :: 5:00 PM-9:00 PM\n• April 13\, 2024 :: 8:30 AM-7:30 PM \nTickets for in-person screenings are $16 for CIFF members and $18 for non-members. Tickets for CIFF48 Streams screenings are $12 for CIFF members and $14 for non-members. If you are not yet a member\, you can become one by visiting the Festival’s membership page. \nIn addition\, the CIFF48 Film Guide\, generously sponsored by Jinny and John Johnson\, is available at various locations\, and can be found in its digital form on the CIFF website. \nCIFF48\nCIFF48 will take place April 3-13\, 2024 at Playhouse Square\, followed by CIFF48 Streams\, sponsored by PNC\, which will take place April 14-21\, 2024 online. The Festival will showcase 138 feature films and 225 short films from 60 countries. More than 300 filmmakers will be in Cleveland for Festival post-film Q&As\, industry events\, and additional audience interaction opportunities. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Monday\, April 8th from 1:30-4:30pm on the rooftop of The Fairmont Creamery for a Total Eclipse Party! \nAbout The Total Eclipse: \n\n\n\n\nOn April 8\, 2024\, a total solar eclipse will cross North America\, passing over Mexico\, the United States\, and Canada. A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth\, completely blocking the face of the Sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSafety is the number one priority when viewing a total solar eclipse. Be sure you’re familiar with when you need to wear specialized eye protection designed for solar viewing by reviewing these safety guidelines. \n-NASA \n\nAll SCA residents are welcome to join!
