During this time\, more than 20 thousand volunteers have helped recycle 24\,757 illegally discarded tires and picked up 1.5 million pounds of trash. This annual cleanup is one of Ohio largest one-day litter cleanups. It has helped communities reduce public dumping and encouraged the creation of parks and trails. \nSCA will be leading the cleanup site at The Fairmont Creamery. Be part of this legacy by joining us on May 4 by registering at a cleanup site: Click Here to Register! \nOver the course of 34 years\, 21 thousand volunteers have helped recycle 25\,005 illegally discarded tires and pick up almost 1.5 million pounds of trash. Players are just at home with The Beatles as they are with Bach or Beethoven. SUMMARY:Sunset Rooftop Restorative Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Join Abide Yoga Instructor\, Rhianna Gonzales\, on Monday\, August 26th from 7-8pm for a restorative rooftop yoga session at The Fairmont Creamery! \nThis event is open to all SCA residents and you are welcome to invite a plus one that may not be from our community\, just notate if you’ll be bringing along a friend when you fill in your name (i.e. John Smith +1)–this event is open to 30 people max. \nRSVP is required and attendees are responsible for bringing their own mats\, straps\, blocks\, bolsters\, pillows and blankets. \nSchedule for Rooftop Yoga: \n\n6:30pm – Arrive for Class (please arrive no later than 6:45pm as the class will begin promptly at 7pm)\n7:00pm – Class Begins\n8:00pm – Class Ends\n\nWhat is Restorative Yoga?\nRestorative yoga is a form of yin yoga. Restorative practices focus on breath work\, slowing the body down and moving in and out of poses that help release tension in the body. With restorative yoga\, we often use props such as bolsters\, blocks and straps to help hold poses from 1-10 minutes.\n\n\nAbout Rhianna:\nHaving practiced yoga on and off for the last 10 years\, it was at the start of the pandemic when Rhianna began to really practice yoga and breath work on a daily basis. A passion that lead to the beginning and completing a YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) in 2023.\n\nToday\, Rhianna teaches yoga with a focus on Yin and Restorative Poses for all bodies. Her classes incorporate gentle movement\, breath work and holding shapes for anywhere between 1-10 minutes while spending time checking in with the body and mind.
