As the Anshe Emeth congregation relocates, the story of Mendelsohn's synagogue calls for a new chapter.

We begin this redevelopment with the belief that its future should not be decided by one voice or group, but rather through a planning process that draws out the best ideas and establishes a developable plan that is in sympathy with its original principles: family, education, and community.

Over the coming months, we will begin a master plan that seeks these best ideas across a variety of sectors—including the arts, performance, housing, social services, environmental sustainability, and education.

It will be essential to build a diverse coalition to steward and invigorate the reimagined building. If your organization or group has a vision for what might be, please use the form below to get in touch or read more about the project here.
