The Hawthorne

The Hawthorne is the conversion of the Jefferson neighborhood's historic Nathaniel Hawthorne School into 37 modern loft apartments, ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms. The spaces at Hawthorne range from efficient studios to large one and two bedrooms. The renovation also includes expansive 3 and 4-bedroom apartments that were once the school gym and auditorium. And yes, we kept the basketball hoops and stage! SCA seeks out projects in tight-knit neighborhoods with assets such as great parks, restaurants, markets and diverse cultures. In Jefferson, we found a community that both possesses the resources and embodies a spirit that inspires us.
