As a resident physician at one of the local hospitals, I have been able to make the Tappan my oasis-at-home when returning from long days at work. The windows are huge - and the sunsets are gorgeous. When the weather is nice, the roof is also the perfect escape with a great view of downtown. On the first floor is a bakery (Leavend) that has some of the best baked goods in the city! My boyfriend and I are also always surprised with how much food we are able to get for seemingly so little money. And any time I have a need, the SCA management team has been so incredibly responsive and proactive with any concern.

Big fan of this building! I moved here because I teach in Cleveland and wanted to live in Cleveland, not the suburbs. The building is great; brand new with lots of amenities like a gym and a bakery on the first floor. The owners hosted a "Giving Tree" this holiday season for kids living in the Merrick House. I was so moved; knowing I live in a place were people care about others. The community has hosted a number of socially distanced happy hours (grab and go) and a rooftop yoga session. I'm totally looking forward to the day when Covid doesn't rule the social interactions.

I love this place!!! I have renewed my lease for a second year. Last March, moving from California was very stressful for me, but this company went above and beyond to make my move-in stress-free. Having a big American Bulldog makes it tough to rent, but they have no breed restrictions and are dog-friendly. The manager, Joe, is always on the ball, and the maintenance guys are excellent. The owners have multiple locations around the area and are thoughtful and civic-minded. They are involved in critical social programs, which means a lot to me; it's one of many reasons I renewed my lease. Please don't doubt staying here or any of their other properties; the units move fast, which should tell you everything you need to know about this gem of a place.

The Fairmont Creamery has been our home for the last four years and we cannot recommend it enough! It's proximity to downtown and the various businesses and restaurants in Tremont are what brought us here. Yet, the community and many amenities are what kept us. We enjoyed the convenience and safety of the parking garage, benefits of the rooftop space, and proximity to Tremont Athletic Club! SCA management is top notch - tackling any issue or inconvenience quickly and the maintenance team is second to none! Thanks to Josh, Joe, Mike, Al and the rest of the team for making this place so special!

Living at The Tappan was an amazing experience due to the management. If I didn’t have to move, I definitely would’ve stayed longer. Joe (landlord) and Caitlin (leasing manager) made living here incredibly easy. They answered any questions in a timely manner and were very accommodating. Another big positive is that the management is honest, there are no surprises. Now for the apartment itself, it’s brand new which is always nice. The electric bill is super cheap because they use a very energy efficient system. They are extremely pet friendly and even have a free pet washing station. Also, the building is connected to the Leavened bakery which is convenient. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

I found this apartment complex in less than a week and and my 11 month stay here was one of the best decisions I made. I remember showing the glowing positive reviews on google to my co-worker, who stated I should be a little skeptical since all the POSITIVE reviews could be a bad sign, but having lived here I can relate to all those 5 star reviews. As you enter the building, it is very apparent that a lot of thought has gone into this building and the units. The owners, manager are a group of wonderful humans. As the pandemic raged on their kindness compassion, thoughtfulness (they had movie suggestions, craft supplies delivered to all the units) made the lockdown a lot more bearable. I continue to recommend Mueller Lofts to anyone I know who is looking to rent in CLE.

As an original resident of the building, I can attest to how well SCA manages their properties and passionately supports their local communities. I had no plans on staying in this building for three and half + years, but I have had zero reasons to look elsewhere. The units were designed with care and are maintained by a kind, careful and responsive crew. The amenities, special events and building improvements put the value over the top. I can’t recommend Mueller Lofts or any other SCA property enough.

You won’t regret choosing The Tappan. (Or sustainable community in general) Tremont is really nice area, everything is nearby. The bakery at the lobby is soooo good! And the people living there are all nice. I’m an international student and I lived in the state for 5 years and in Cleveland for 3 years. Never had an phenomenal experience with a community like the one with Sustainable. The landlord, leasing office and everyone work there are extra nice and friendly.

Spencer and Sméagol (my dog and my cat) missed the place, too. [This] place is pet friendly and they don’t charge for pets! Can you believe that
