Polaroid Project: Taylor and Michael in Tremont

Hey guys, let us introduce ourselves! Michael and myself, Taylor, are both Cleveland natives. We moved away for a bit, but when deciding to move back to Cleveland in 2016 we landed on our spot at the Fairmont Creamery, and couldn’t be luckier to be a part of such a great community ever since.

1. Cloak and Dagger

Whether you’re looking for an aesthetic space to relax, amazing cocktails, or great vegan food, Cloak and Dagger is the spot. They can also make anything on their menu spirit free. Best part is it’s right here in Tremont!

2. The Cleveland Museum of Art

A place that’s pretty close to our hearts—it started with our first date here, and then continued this past November when Michael proposed in front of Wade Oval. The Cleveland Museum of Art is such an inspiring, romantic space and we’re incredibly lucky to have it within our reach!

3. Cleveland Metroparks

What a gem it is to have the emerald necklace at our fingertips. Being so close to the city but always being able to escape into nature is such a gift! We love to go hiking with our friends whenever we can and there are so many different places to do so.

4. Larder Delicatessen and Bakery

If you know, you know. Absolutely incredible delicatessen food and pastries. Jeremy, Allie, and the staff are always so welcoming.

5. Rising Star

Our favorite place to start off a lazy Sunday or a busy weekday… Or, really, any day. Rising Star is a great coffee spot to catch up with a friend or get some editing or work done. We typically go to Hingetown, but they have a few locations around the city.

6. Little Italy

Ah, how to find the words for our gem that is Little Italy. Such a special atmosphere. Also, went to Presti's Bakery for our first date. I think my favorite dish down there has to be La Trattoria’s gnocchi al burro.

7. Cleveland Botanical Garden

Another fantastic spot tucked just outside of downtown. As a photographer I’ve loved using the Botanical Garden as a space for shoots, but it’s the perfect horticultural getaway.

8. Mahalls 20 Lanes

The nostalgic Mahalls 20 Lanes! Always a fun time for bowlers and music lovers alike! If you’re looking for a low key hangout or a fun venue to watch live music, it’s the spot for you.

9. Chagrin Falls

One of our favorite places to go when we want to step out of the city is Chagrin Falls. Charming, small town with a big personality! Restaurants, boutiques, and the falls are all great, but honestly one of our favorite things to do is just drive or walk around. The city is so unique. M Italian has a pretty great happy hour, too!
